Team Turkey to compete in multiple events

Turkey is scheduled to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. The Turkish Olympic Committee has selected a team of athletes to represent the country in a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, and track and field.

The Turkish women's basketball team will be making its Olympic debut in Rio. The team qualified for the Games by winning the FIBA Europe Championship for Women in 2015. The Turkish men's basketball team will also be competing in Rio, having qualified by winning the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament in 2016.

In addition to basketball, Turkey will also be represented in volleyball, track and field, and other sports. The Turkish volleyball team is ranked among the top teams in the world and will be looking to medal in Rio. The Turkish track and field team will be led by sprinter Ramil Guliyev, who is the reigning European champion in the 200 meters.

The Turkish Olympic team is expected to perform well in Rio. The team has a number of talented athletes who are capable of winning medals. Turkey will be looking to improve on its performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where the country won two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.
